Special Projects
As Council looks toward a future of growth in the Northern Rockies, we are often tasked with Special Projects in an effort to anticipate challenges, identify opportunities, and take a hard look at the things we need to accomplish to ensure that the community remains ahead of the curve of rapid oil & gas development in the area.
Projects since 2010 have included the Northern Rockies Climate Action Plan, the Light Industrial Expansion and subsequent Industrial and Commercial Property Sales, the Residential Housing Strategy, and the Official Community Plan Update, to name a few!
