Home-Based Business
The Northern Rockies Regional Municipality has a large number of home based businesses. From Daycares to Pilot Truck Drivers, from catalogue sales to artists, these businesses contribute greatly to our local economy and to the vibrancy of our community.
Please read a recent evaluation on Home Industries and Home Based Business Regulations [2.1 MB, opens in the NRRM FilePro site] in the NRRM and come out to a Public Forum on Wednesday, September 15th, 6:30pm at the Phoenix Theatre. We invite you to share your ideas and give your opinion on appropriate levels of home business / home industry that ensures Home Based Businesses remain an important part of Fort Nelson without overshadowing the rural character, fabric and nature of the homes and residential areas in which they operate. View the letter of invitation [PDF - 41 KB] for more information.
