Agriculture

While perhaps not as integral as that of our neighbours in the Peace,
agriculture remains a viable way of life for many Northern Rockies
residents. The success of crops, local food security, the health of
livestock, and the availability of land through the Agricultural Land Reserve are all measures of the potential for growth of this industry in our region. The initiation of a Public Farmers Market in
the summer of 2010 showed growing support from the community, while the
annual development of a Community Garden shows growing signs of
